Concern Over H1N1 Jumps Significantly

According to Senior Vice-President Doug Anderson “As the H1N1 situation has unfolded, it is clear that Canadians have become much more engaged and opinions and intentions are changing. Concern has increased, but Canadians don’t tend to be more than somewhat concerned. Canadians are far more likely to say they see the situation as more serious now, rather than less serious, compared to how they felt was a week or two ago. These attitudes are undoubtedly influencing intentions to get vaccinated as now a majority of Canadians say they are or will be vaccinated. About one month ago, just over one third were telling us they intended to get the H1N1 vaccine.”
