According to Senior Vice-President Doug Anderson “A majority of Canadians are inclined to believe recent Liberal claims that the stimulus spending is favouring Conservative ridings. However, the striking finding is that significantly fewer feel that the Government spending more on Conservative ridings is something that should be stopped. This disparity suggests to me that this issue is not the political bombshell the Liberals have been looking for.  For good or ill, Canadians seem to be resigned to this practice, exhibit little animosity towards it and maybe accept a modicum of this as business as usual.”
