According to Senior Vice-President Doug Anderson “Canadians generally agree that we should not have troops in Afghanistan beyond 2011. While opinions are probably not terribly firm at this point, there is more support than opposition to the idea of having a civilian mission replace the military one. The most striking findings on this point are among women and Quebec residents – the two segments most opposed to the current mission are much less opposed to the idea of a civilian mission.”
