According to Harris Decima Senior Vice-President Jeff Walker; "A recent study conducted by Harris/Decima indicated that Canadians believe the number of family doctors is the most urgent need in the health care system. But in spite of perceptions that there are huge numbers of Canadians without a family doctor, these results indicate that with the exception of Quebec, the vast majority of Canadians not only have a family doctor, but believe they receive very good care, and would not want to switch, even if they had a choice".
