According to Harris Decima Senior Vice-President Jeff Walker "The key voter battlegrounds across Canada continue to lean more Liberal than Conservative. In Quebec the Conservatives have made gains, but are still a distant third, and will need to continue to gain in order to retain their existing base of seats. In Ontario, the Liberals hold an 11 point lead, which is one of the largest leads we have observed for the Liberals in that key region since the last election. And in BC, right now the NDP has slipped slightly, making the province more of a two-way race between the Liberals and the Conservatives"
